deer in fall colors

This is an older picture which has likely been posted on this photo blog. I remember the day this photo was taken. I was walking... not so much taking pictures, but walking. The worries of the world were on my shoulders. I was ruminating about lost love and betrayal. As I stepped around a corner there was this deer. Standing. It was as if she were saying, "Here I am take my picture".

bandit

Pam's baby.

She had him wrapped in her shirt while she worked yesterday. He is officially spoiled and really gets upset when he has to go in his cage. He LOVES to be held.

not a painting

This is a photograph of the one of the outdoor exhibits in Auburn, IN. This is a bronze sculpture by Seward Johnson. She is overexposed a bit I suspect causing the two dimensional appearance. Tomorrow I will post how the entire sculpture appears... it is almost two stories tall!!!

Auburn, IN Statue

Auburn Indiana has a display up for the next few months from "American Realist" sculpture Seward Johnson. This piece is obviously of a policeman.

This guy is writing tickets if you park in front of the police station. Beware!

orchard oriole babies

The babies were getting fed by the parents on the day of this photo. Everyone was very active. I had some "issues" with "noise" so went back the following day and there was no activity. So the "noisy" pictures will just have to do.

lady slipper

These are spring flowers found in this part of the upper midwest. There were some still in full color in Michigan this last weekend where the spring comes a little later than most other places.
